Innerspace

Seeing the inside of a library for the first time usually manifests a feeling of revulsion and disgust or awe and appreciation. Luckily for me, it's the latter I am feeling now as I gaze upon the modern architecture of white columns and glass that typifies Kelvin Smith Library. But for all its grandeur, it's the nice array of study tables that I appreciate the most. That, and the reliable wireless network that is so sorely missed at the law school. *Ahem*

There's something to be said for designing a house of books, or the "engine for the world's most powerful learning environment" if you prefer, in an appealing fashion. After visiting numerous universities during my college search way back when, I must say that irrespective of how many volumes KSL holds, this library is the most pleasurable to work in that I have ever experienced.

So that's my brief homage to a building where I have spent more waking hours in the last week than I have ever before, proportionally. Or something.

Well, back to U.C.C.'s and Restatements...
