Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Flattery...

If I were my contracts professor... I might write something like this:

Crypto knew those disingenuous Junior League candidates were up to no good. She felt it in her nearly three-quarters of a century-old bones. The previous day they had insisted on an even earlier meeting, but Ish that old codger, had no chance to prepare a counteroffer for the time, much to her dismay. So Crypto relented and agreed to the 8:30 meeting time with Ish and the prep yups. When Ish heard this, he attempted to lay a glob of Micky Twist on Crypto's trusty Havensham Bittleknockers (which she got at Hooper's for $35 in 1947 after much haranguing, Sugar Lumps) but Macho Snopes stepped in and got globbed instead. Last Crypto heard, Macho Snopes was suing Ish for battery. "Served him right," she thought to herself.
